So are the dangers of slip n slides.............this is what happens when you mix a liitle drinking and a lot horse-in around. So what to do, I really don't think its broke,swelling,pain and some limited motion; no deformaty noted. So I will see how I feel tomorrow if its worse I'll get it xrayed. It sucks b/c I can't climb for several wks. Anyone had somethg like happen, how did you tx it? But we had fun doin it, we where a bunch of adults acting like kids, tooo funny!

A group of climbers/bikers/hikers/walkers has formed to participate in the Climb Up So Kids Can Grow Up fundraiser to help kids with HIV/AIDS get the medication they need.  We're the Kanyekanye Climbers team and we hope to get people in every possible time zone on our team.  If you are available to climb/bike/hike/walk on Sept. 20 and/or 21, please join our team!

We went up and did Mt. Rose this week and it was the probably the first time anyone had been there for a year since the road had been closed. We are going up to do an unnamed peak above Wagonwheel on Sunday. Both of those, and access to Lightning peak, Copper Peak and the whole Sawtooth ridge has been closed off for some time, but is now open (entirely to the Staircase Ranger station by Sunday). Mt, Rose, by the way, has a much different character to it since the forest fire. At the summit block you can actually get a pretty good view of the lake below.
