Day 2 – 6.

Ok OK OOOKKK. I have neglected my duties to the great Klime Nation. I promise to have pics up tomorrow morning by noon Australia time.  The past few days have been crazy to say the least.  As expected we have been on a rigorous workout regime.  I’m talkin off trail hiking in Box Springs Mountain Park with thorns and grass that cut like razors, all for the fun of it, and product testing till our fingers bleed with chalk.  Don’t ask me how - it just does.  We ran the entire Dockweiler State Park and have done at least 1000 pinky pushups.  All in the name of trying to become the best tour crew ever assembled.

We have hit up Threshhold Gym in Riverside and watched in horror as the wonderful  Alex lead an intense core workout for the gym members.  We discovered Hangar 18 in the town of Upland, where they pull down harder than Shaq “The big Cactus” did back in his prime.  Than today we chilled with Kristin, Jeremy, Nick and Jen at Rockreation in “The City of Angels” where Jeremy P taught perhaps one of the most comprehensive classes on climbing we have ever witnessed. He has such passion for the sport that it is no wonder Rockreation is such a popular gym.  Keep it up Jeremy!

The Klime Krew is looking for people in every city to be a part of the movement and bring together the community.  Join our forums and send us your pictures where your gear with pride and realize that we are all a part of a family that feeds on the energy we provide.  Show us your state and local crags and your Krew of boulders, trad climbers, weekend warriors, backpackers, and adventurers alike.  Help the novice climber and make them feel welcomed in the lifestyle. Be a positive ambassador for the sport. Whether you see it or not, when you speak with an individual who has no climbing experience, you are speaking on behalf of all of us.

J Cox
