Hey gang. About me: I'm 23 years old from Tennessee. I'm in the Army currently deployed to Iraq. I'm trying to extend my climbing network to help educate myself and maybe meet some new people close by to climb with because I don't really have a good climbing partner yet. I've been climbing for about a year, mostly sport and some bouldering. I'm not the best thing to hit a crag since John Bachar or anything but i think considering how long i've been climbing I'm not to bad. I can lead most 5.9 and climb some 5.10. I've training while i'm deployed but that can prove to be somewhat of a challenge with the work schedule that i have. I hope that i haven't brought anyone to tears with my rambling. My home crag is a little place called Kings Bluff. It's just south of Fort Campbell Kentucky on the Tennessee side. Well I'll be back state side some time in June and i'm planning a trip to the Red River Gorge if anyone is interested. Drop me a line if you want to climb sometime or if you just want to talk. Anyways keep rock'n the free world.

welcome to the site! ask around your FOB if there might be a climbing wall. if not, try to get one built by MWR. if no luck there, order some Rock Rings to train on.
Stay Safe

StoneD'..welcome aboard. I'm healing up from a busted ankle, but anxious to get out to the Red this summer too. There are a few Tennessee climbers here, (check out Badash') and they probably can give you a shout. I've seen posts here on site about Kings Bluff area, but never been there myself. Get home soon. Meanwhile, keep your eyes moving, and the armored side of the Humvee down.
