New Climber

Hey, I'm fairly new to the climbing scene, started just before X-mas '06, but am totaly addicted. I've met some great people climbing and would like to meet more and learn more. I've spent most of my climbing time at an outdoor climbing wall, and looking foward to getting on some real rock soon. I want to learn how to lead. I'm told that I am climbing at about a 5.10/5.10a level, I can boulder V3. I'm looking for any advice you may be able to give me, gear, books, places to climb (Charlotte, NC area). Also looking for people to climb with. I know several people that I climb with, but getting new perspectives, and meeting new people is allways good.

New forum on Nutrition

Hey, gang. Just wanted to point out that we've added a new topic in our forums: Nutrition

Somehow we missed including that before now, but a new YourClimbing sponsor (Kodiak Solstix wild salmon jerky) wanted to sponsor the topic -- so we created one.

I've moved a few old threads into the Nutrition forum (since they fit there). ... But as active as this website is, not a ton of discussion on this topic could be found.
